RECAPTURE WONDER
That was the topic last Friday's service. Its a very good topic that serves like a wake up call na rin hindi lang sa mga new believers but most especially sa mga christians na for such a long time.
I was not able to write down some notes or important passages that has been used for this topic because I was crying all through out the preaching. But I remember, the pastor described WONDER as a childlike joy. Its the astonishment, the awe, the excitement or the admiration of a child with his/her new toy with the urge to figure out why the toy function in a certain way? until he/she would break the toy into pieces just to be able to see whats inside and after that...nawawala na ang excitement, nawawala na ang WOW feeling.
As Christians, we need to recapture that WONDER coz sometimes, we think and we feel that we know Jesus too well that we tend to ignore how wonderful Jesus is and we fail to appreciate all the things that He can do for us.
As an example, the pastor said, seeing someone healed by the Lord, you will say.."Aah I've seen that before, I know GOD can do that" ..there's no awe, no astonishment, NO MORE WONDER.
Last friday service obviously reminded us to RECAPTURE THE WONDER and experience GOD's amazing promise of a childlike joy.
Its the most amazing feeling in the world. :)
God Bless everyone.

most of the time, we lose the wonder and awe we have from God. and yes our relationship with Him should grow deeper daily.
