Oh Yes! oDesk!

I stayed online for a lil bit longer the other night just cause a friend of mine was convincing me (we call it virtual harassment! hahaha) to friggin' sign up for an oDesk account. After the long virtual aggravation, I finally gave in! I am now officially an oDesk provider that has been confirmed by a notification email on my inbox sent by oDesk team. So what now?. lol

What is oDesk?

oDesk is the marketplace for online workteams, with the best business model for both buyers and providers. Their unique approach guarantees that an hour paid is an hour worked while also guaranteeing that an hour worked is an hour paid.

I checked the website and read some more to have better understanding of what oDesk is? Well, I only got excited about the possibility of earning $$$$. However, the money will not come just by clicking or surfing the internet. It requires a lot of skills and time (even if you intend to do it on your free time).

And when I received job alerts from oDesk few hours after I signed up, I was not even convince that I can do any of the job descriptions. Well first off, I am not oDesk ready yet. There's a certain test that I need to take before I can actually apply or accept projects. I did try to take the 25 multiple choice oDesk ready test but I wasn't patient enough to finish the whole friggin' thing!

I already made my friend happy just by signing up haha. (I hope you are happy now Kat). Now, I need to wear my thinking cap on if I really want to give it a go or even let my creative juices flowing. Hah!

I think another friend of mine, whose a very witty blogger/writer is on oDesk but I am not sure if its the same thing. (Shobe Vikki, lemme know if you are reading this)
