A Special Night
I had a very lovely evening when I celebrated Valentine’s Day yesterday with my significant other. We had dinner at J.W. Marriot. The food was great and the whole valentine atmosphere was so amazing but it’s NOT the fancy things that made the night really special. And NO, he didn't propose yet. =) I am just so happy that in the middle of our conversations, he mentioned about being worried with his actions towards some situations. Is he too blunt? or did he deal with things in CHRISTIAN way to ventilate his point of view? For the longest time that we're together, I always want the Lord to be the center of our relationship. Sabi nga nila, "If a guy is not comiitted to the Lord, what makes you think he would be committed to you?" Well, I have never felt the importance of my partner's relationship with the Lord until I realized how significant God is in my life. So if you're going to ask me now, YES, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that my partner have a personal relationship with the Lord like I do. It is GOD alone whom I depend on when it comes to keeping us together. It is GOD alone whom I turn to even in the slightest problem we encounter. It is GOD alone who gives me strength just to make this relationship work especially during those times that I thought I wanted to give up. It is GOD alone that I give all my gratefulness for keeping us happy together. Last night, I was just a listener and I was delighted to hear that he wants to know if he actually dealt with some situations in a CHRISTIAN manner? I believe that he is GOD's work in progress and gradually he will realized how significant the Lord is in his life. Twas such a special night and I thank the Lord for being part of it.
