Passionately Pink

I found out from the newspaper yesterday that there's going to be a breast cancer awareness party to be held in July. I have been a supporter of the breast cancer awareness program eversince we've conducted one free seminar sometime last year in my previous job. So, I was telling my roomate last night to check out our schedule so we can go to the party called PASSIONATELY PINK!

The Passionately Pink Party’ will take place on Saturday the 5th of July at Dubai’s newest night spot ‘alpha’, in what is set to be the event of the summer. The party is being held to raise awareness of cancer amongst the UAE’s social generation, the 21-35 year olds who make the Dubai social scene tick. On the night, ‘alpha’ will be turned into a huge pink wash created by the high tech LED lighting system, with high definition visuals around the venue defining cancer awareness and showing images and video of those involved with and support the global awareness campaign for cancer. Dubai’s hottest local DJ’s will be in charge of the ‘Passionately Pink’ beats and bass lines with the likes of Pillow Talk, Gregstar, Gareth Jones (ITP), Brian Scudder (Switch) Richard Round, Charl Chaka and Matthew Charles!

The ‘Passionately Pink Party’ will also be offering out ‘gifts in kind’, where all proceeds will be donated to the Red Crescent Organization in Dubai. The lucky winners will have a chance of either a 2 night stay in the Raffles Deluxe Suite (including breakfast!), a shiny new Samsung mobile phone, extensive and expensive beauty treatments and many more wonderful prizes.

Finally, an event for Dubai’s socialites, specifically procured to RAISE THE AWARENESS OF CANCER in the UAE!
