Across the Border
I am here at the border of Dubai and Oman for another visa change. If you are an OFW working in the Middle East, going to Kish Iran, Oman or Qatar, to do visa change is definitely not new to you. If you are not lucky to get a good employer, you will have to travel every two months to renew your toursit visa which is a total hassle! I am telling you! I opted to go to Oman by land which is about 45 minutes drive away from where I live. Not bad. In fact, it is actually a lot better than going to Kish and boarding on a very small and crappy plane. Sorry, but I just had a very bad experience indeed.
This is the Oman Immigration office. A 20 minutes ride from the hotel. We had our passport stamped by one of the immigration officer to be able to exit Oman border and go back to Dubai again.
This is the Al Salam Hotel lobby in Oman. Customer Service is really bad or I don't think they have customer service at all. I had an argument with one of the Front Desk people. The General Manager ended up hiring me. Haha!

And of course, group of Filipino's walking along Buhaimi Road. Enjoying each other's company while waiting for the visa.
